This person was mauled by a Dog after she opened up the back door of a pick up truck. The dog belonged to a friend. The dog bit her in the face. When she came to us, when she smiled the scar would buckle in and become more depressed. We carried out a geometric line closure for the scar followed by a laser resurfacing with dermasanding. Dermasanding is a technique of resurfacing that involves using medical sterile grade sandpaper to take down the layers of the skin and the scar.
